DigFin expands commercial team

Maralyn Ho and Nick West will help DigFin expand its activities into awards and services for clients.

DigFin has appointed Maralyn Ho as commercial director to help grow our services for clients.

Ho served for nearly 10 years at the Financial Times in commercial and advertizing sales director roles. There she had responsibility for Greater China and Southeast Asia.

She also spent nearly two years as managing director at Ptarmigan Media, a media consultancy serving financial institutions.

Joining her is Nick West as commercial representative. West also has nearly ten years’ experience at the Financial Times where he headed its conferences and events business in Asia Pacific.

He has also served as Bloomberg’s head of live events for two years, and head of brand media events at Haymarket for four years.

Jame DiBiasio, DigFin’s founder, says the new members of the team will help expand DigFin’s services to clients, including a range of content to support marketing and business goals.

“As DigFin’s audience among financial and fintech professionals grows, we see a lot of opportunity to do more for clients who value knowledgeable content creation,” DiBiasio said. “Maralyn and Nick bring amazing commercial experience to our brand.”

DigFin will also be introducing the DigFinnies – the DigFin Innovation Awards, recognizing excellence in digital finance, fintech, and digital assets among technology companies and financial institutions.

“I’m very optimistic about the fintech industry’s prospects in 2021 and DigFin is here to help support the community in Asia,” DiBiasio said.
